Always Elegant Weddings and Events handles all of the details to make a wedding or event as elegant and stress-free as possible. We take your vision, listen to your ideas, and create a signature experience for you and your guests.

Training

We have enhanced our talents by taking classes and obtaining several certificates in wedding/event planning and floral design at local colleges and vendor events.

Bios and Community Involvement

Sharon Parchia

Sharon began planning events in 1993, and founded this business with Shakisha in 2005. She has a passion for planning weddings and events with a focus on decorating. Her love of people, decorating, details, and planning are what make her such a naturally effective event planner. Transforming her client's vision into the event they dreamed of is her specialty. In 1998 Sharon was honored to be named "most inspirational" employee of the year by Regence BlueShield.

Shakisha Ross

Shakisha has planned and coordinated weddings and events since 2001, and founded this business with Sharon in 2005. With your ideas and her experience Shakisha will help make your wedding a day full of wonderful memories. Currently Shakisha is a student at Seattle Pacific University majoring in Interior Design and Political Science. Shakisha provides designer details in the use of colors and materials, and intricate details about the design of your ceremony. Shakisha is married and has three children.

• At her church, teaches an active pre-teen class each Sunday
• King County feeding program, summer coordinator for the last several summers
  

Debbie Griffin

Debbie, aka Designs by Elayne, began her love of floral design as a hobby, creating beautiful floral arrangements for family and close friends. This led to seven years working in a local floral shop where her zeal and talents for floral arranging continued to blossom. Each floral creation reflects her passion for flowers as living art.
